Many women misunderstand why their husbands want oral sex. Not just oral sex, but really any act that focuses primarily on male pleasure, like massage, manual or other non-intercourse stimulation, dirty talk, lingerie wearing, etc. Women feel that these desires or preferences mean that their husbands are (1) selfish and (2) mainly concerned with the physical or visual pleasure stemming from the act. Neither of these are correct, and empathetic why men fantasize about entity pleased is essential if you want to deeply understand your husband and improve your heartfelt (yes emotional, not just sexual) connection.
Men have been taught from an early age to be strong and not show their feelings, especially vulnerable feelings. They are told to man up and suck it up and not show any weakness. Oral sex is just one way to give or receive pleasure, so why are there so many opinions, feelings, and stereotypes surrounding the topic? Because were human, of course. And humans and sex have a complex relationship, to speak the least!

I like oral sex.
Both giving and receiving.
But not all women are like me. Or at least not willing to type it on a webpage for the entire society (hi, mom!) to read.
Most men care for blowjobs.
And some women DON’T enjoy giving oral.
But let’s split down WHY men love oral sex so much and how it can contribute to:
- a happier relationship
- a healthier relationship
- less stress and less fights
- healthier division of energetic roles in the relationship
- deeper confide in between you and your partner
Men and women don’t always understand each other. Because guess what? We are different!!
