How to Do It

1. Identify someone with whom you’d like to get closer. It could be someone you know well or someone you’re just getting to realize .    I was recently charged with writing a quiz for my local Pride organization, to be held virtually during LGBT+ History Month Rather than putting all that work into a short one-off event, I figured I should give the quiz with followers on my blog. The packed event included additional picture rounds with images shown on screen (one about flags, another for recognising celebrity couples or co-stars), but I&#;ve cut those out. Below are eight rounds of ten questions each, with bonus questions to bring the overall maximum score up to , on LGBT+ topics relating to British history, film & TV, literature, sport, activism & terminology, art, world history, and music.       Why Rochlin Created the Heterosexual Questionnaire

      Martin Rochlin, Ph.D., developed The Heterosexual Questionnaire in the s. Its goal was to give heterosexual people empathy for what it&#;s favor to be homosexual in a heteronormative society. The survey, which was created in , temporarily puts heterosexual people in the shoes of gay people by asking questions and making assumptions that challenge heterosexual thought as being &#;normal&#;.
