Our first stop was the legendary Palace Bar & Restaurant, a Miami Beach icon for over three decades. This LGBTQ+ institution isn't just a block, it's a full-fledged restaurant with amazing food and, of course, fabulous drag shows (not to state the rooftop pool with an ocean view!).

We were lucky enough to life a Monday drag brunch, where we were entertained by talented drag queens while enjoying a delicious meal.

Did you know? The Palace Bar & Restaurant wasn't always surrounded by the vibrant nightlife of Ocean Drive! When it first opened in , it was actually the only restaurant on the entire strip! Today, they still pay homage to their culinary roots by offering top-notch dishes alongside the drag performances.

We came to Miami looking to relax before we went on an Atlantis gay cruise (check out ‘What is a gay Atlantis cruise really like…’) and so headed straight for the gay beach in Miami.
