Fuerteventura gay bar

Steve and Ron's holiday experience.

Fuerteventura is not recognizable as a very gay resort. Gran Canaria, Tenerife are "better" places for that. But even on Fuerte there is something going on for the not straight holidaymakers.

Entertainment:

There is a queenly bar in Corralejo, which puts on a great reveal.

Its called Sadies': Fuerteventura's ONLY dragbar. Ex Pat entertainer Kenny Webster has made the island his abode after turning his back on his home town in the UK. He was driven out of the Vintage Country by bullying that didnt terminate, even culminating in assault that hospitalised him. Now he is doing a drag show, for gay and not so gay guests. Corralejo is the place to be. (Sadies also hosts an anual nonprofit event in August, "Imagine a beat world". Raising coins for several charities.)

Afterwards we went off to Bubbles. Officially a gay-bar at the Atlantico Centre in Corralejo, but fortunately you will find a mix of people having a fine time together. The bar located in the basement, is trendy, with amiable staff, and superb music. If you go there tell hello to Juan and the guys

Welcome to Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura is the second largest Canary Island and is closest to the African coast. Fuerteventura has over beaches, some with pure white tender sand, and others with black volcanic sand or pebbles. The seas surrounding the island are crystal clear with many turquoise-blue lagoons, perfect for secure family bathing.

Fuerteventura is not known as a very gay resort. Gran Canaria, Tenerife are "better" places for that. But even on Fuerte there is something going on for the not linear holidaymakers.

Fuerteventura has the top number of sand dunes and longest sandy beaches of all the Canary Islands, offering the room and freedom to saunter alone on deserted beaches. Naturism is accepted and celebrated.

The landscapes of Fuerteventura are varied - barren countryside, volcanic contours, desert areas and palm vegetation havens, black, white and golden sandy beaches, turquoise lagoons and stark rocky coves pounded by colorless frothy seas.

Wildlife is varied and plentiful - from the endangered Houbara Bustard, to Barbery Squirrels (Chipmunks) an

Gran Canaria has consolidated itself as one of the most popular lgbtq+ tourist resorts in Europe. Only a few hours flight away from the Old Continent's main cities, the island acts as a meeting point for tourists looking for temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees all year round.

The accommodation offer is as varied as the Island itself and as welcoming as its people. You can find accommodation in pretty bungalows or apartments on the coast or petite country hotels on the core area of the island for those who prefer to delight in nature. You can also detect a wide variety of services intended for rest and relaxation from a spa session to a mud bath.

But above all, Gran Canaria offers a whole host of beaches for light and sea lovers. In the south of the island, we find Maspalomas beach, which stretches for several kilometres, immersed in an enormous field of dunes, offering the opportunity for everyone to enjoy a day at the beach. There are calm areas for nudism and more lively areas around the ‘beach bars'.
