A lot of people don't know this, but Wentworth Miller was almost Superman. People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive is undeniably a beautiful, blue-eyed, 6 foot 1, and openly gay man who announced a couple of years ago that he’s tired of playing direct roles.

You might recognize Wentworth Miller from his stint as Michael Scofield on Fox's "Prison Break."

But don't count on ever seeing him in the role again if and when the series ever returns (though it doesn't glance likely). And definitely don't expect him to play any straight man onscreen in the future.
