Levi Strauss & 8,

As in years past, the Levi’s® and Dockers® brands have released special Pride collections for that celebrate and show solidarity with LGBTQIA+ communities around the society. Both collections align with Levi Strauss & Co.’s longstanding emphasis on authentic self-expression and our company values — and they happen to look great, too.

Levi’s®: How Do You Show Up?

For Pride , the Levi’s® logo is celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community’s strength, history and creativity. Drawing from a thoughtful mix of inspirational and educational storytelling, collective members and allies are encouraged to fully express themselves and help others do the matching with a campaign that asks, “How do you show up?” The idea is to point out how being able to reveal up as oneself — in the ways one dresses, acts, loves, creates, makes people undergo — empowers people to exhibit up for others.

The Levi&#;s® Identity festival collection features a lavender-hued paint palette that salutes LGBTQIA+ activist groups of the ’70s and ’90s, whose energy brought an explosive fearlessness to the homosexual ri

Levi Strauss & Co. unveiled its Parade collection shortly after a decisive shareholder vote to retain the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Why It Matters

Pride month is observed in June each year, coinciding with the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a series of protests for gay liberation. This year's Celebration month comes at a critical period for LGBTQIA+ people; President Donald Trump has taken multiple steps to unravel protections for gender diverse people since returning to the Colorless House.

Trump also moved to dismantle DEI initiatives shortly after his inauguration. He has described such initiatives as "radical" and "wasteful."

What To Know

The collection, titled "Meet You In the Park," is described by Levi's as "celebrating gay joy through self-expression," and is inspired by "LGBTQIA+ rodeo culture from the '70s to today." Levi's makes an annual donation to Outright International, a global organization that supports LGBTQIA+ people worldwide.

HOW DO YOU SHOW UP?

At Levi’s®, authentic self-expression is behind everything we do—our clothes, for sure, but also our values. So for this year’s Identity festival campaign, we set out to champion self-expression with a greater purpose. We wanted to celebrate how being able to exhibit up as yourself—in the ways you dress, execute, love, create, make people feel—empowers you to present up for others.

And you’ll find a beautiful demonstration of that truth in the lives of our Pride cast: six inspiring LGBTQ+ individuals from around the globe and across the spectrum of self-expression.

What do they all hold in common? Living as their most authentic selves and helping others carry out the same. In their own words, here are their stories—and images, as captured by photographer Liam Woods, a trans and non-binary image maker based out of LA, whose work is characterized by the candid, intimate storytelling of queer people and other marginalized communities.

Levi Strauss & 23,

This weekend the Event Parade is hitting San Francisco streets, and to say we’re excited is an understatement. Here at LS&Co., we love rallying to celebrate equality, LGBT rights and community.

And we’re especially thrilled about Levi’s® involvement in this year’s Pride Parade. In addition to creating Pride-themed T-shirts and merchandise, Levi’s® has put together a float. Mining our archive, the innovative team went back to the s to mark some of the typography and bold colors of the era. The result? A symbolic salute to the LGBT community, San Francisco and Levi’s® fans.

Of course, this year isn’t the first time LS&Co. has championed the same-sex attracted rights movement. LS&Co. was one of the first companies to grant household health benefits to employees, and we’ve fought for public policy and society support because it’s a cause that matters to us.

In , LS&Co. filed an amicus curiae concise with the California Supreme Court in support of marriage equality — the first and only California business to do so. And last year, we joined a co
