The program for LGBTQ Health is committed to providing the best protect for the Diverse community in a safe and kind environment. We are one of the only programs in the nation that's dedicated to serving the LGBTQ society by providing culturally competent and judgement-free health care.
LGBTQ+ patient navigation
The LGBTQ+ patient navigation program helps connect patients anywhere along the LGBTQ spectrum to outpatient or specialty take care of at Penn Medicine. Patient navigators are advocates who present support and support navigating the health system.
This includes conclusion appropriate providers, making sure your records are updated to match your gender designation and pronouns, or other issues that may arrive up when accessing care. For patients who are uninsured or underinsured, patient navigators can point to you to resources for assistance.

Support select organizations through volunteer service (time), and help to amplify their missions through our vast network of LGBTQ+ volunteers.
Coordinate social events for Gay For Goods LGBTQ+ volunteers, and our allies, to develop friendships and network
Foster and promote a soul of positive, enthusiastic camaraderie both within the LGBTQ+ community and towards our neighbors and organization partner organizations
Do something valuable for our community, city and country
Above all, make a positive difference and have fun!
