Gamers Cry Over Male Baldur's Gate 3 Characters Hitting On Them
Baldur's Gate 3 is a hit so far, amassing way more players than Larian Studios was expecting. But as it climbs through the Steam charts, there was no way that it was going to please everyone. Lo and behold, a few days after launch, a group of gamers have come together to share their grievances with the ultra-popular RPG. It just so happens that these grievances are pretty daft.
On Steam, dudebros are crying that other male characters are hitting on them. Yes, they know you can just shoot them down, but that's not good enough, apparently. The fact that male characters would even assume they swing that way is enough to cause offence. I denote , a guy hitting on your when you're not interested? Must be awful, we can only imagine.

Baldurs Gate 3 from Larian Studios is set in the vast and superb world of the Forgotten Realms from Dungeons and Dragons. "Craddock: How did the option to romance characters come about? It wasn't in the first Baldur's Gate. Was that something James wanted to hit this this time around?
Gaider: We discussed, "Let's give them arcs," and then the idea of romances came up. We initially were supposed to have six: three female, three male.
