Pride BCN, also established as Gay Movement Barcelona, is the event organised every year in Barcelona to celebrate the International LGBTI+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, gender nonconforming, transsexual, bisexual, intersexual, queer and other identities and orientations) Pride Day and most commonly referred to as Gay Pride Day.

During the second half of the month of June, several festive and protest events are organised in the city, although it is always the weekend closest to 30th June, the official day of the celebration, when the most crucial events take place, including the massive demonstration that runs through the streets of Barcelona.

How did the event start in and how has it evolved over the years?
The history of Gay Self-acceptance Day begins in , when a group of LGBT+ activists decided to organize an annual celebration to commemorate the Stonewall riots in New York. The first event, recognizable as Gay Pride Day, took place on June 25, and consisted of a parade and a series of cultural activities in different parts of the city.
Over the years, Madrid Gay Pride has evolved and has become one of the most important events for the LGBT+ community in Spain and in the society. As the celebration has grown in popularity, it has attracted an increasing number of participants and spectators. Currently, the event is held in the month of June and features a parade, concerts, exhibitions and a series of cultural events in various parts of the city.
